PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Manage and oversee the team responsible for OtC activities, including credit policy management, customer bonus settlement, litigation/debt recovery for the OpCo, in accordance with OpCo statutory and tax guidelines, and Heineken policies and objectives, to achieve the agreed performance objectives (PPIs) and service levels, while contributing to ongoing continuous improvement, process standardisation and high levels of customer satisfaction. Be the business partner for the Opco sales and marketing management teams and through good understanding of commercial processes to ensure effective business decision making. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage and oversee the team responsible for collections activities, including pre-due, credit limit exceeded, overdue customer balances, customer rebates, and financial accounting reporting processes

• Review and reconcile accruals and provisions related to ATL (Above-the-Line) and BTL (Below-the-Line) expenses

• Ensure the timely preparation and delivery of standard reports, including Accounts Receivable (AR) Aging reports

• Lead the resolution of escalated Order-to-Cash (OtC) issues, working closely with stakeholders to ensure customer needs are effectively met across both the OpCo and HGSS

• Manage and maintain relationships with key customers, as appropriate

• Monitor and review process controls, ensuring compliance with established procedures and taking corrective actions when control deficiencies are identified

• Monitor Sales and Accounts Receivable performance, including revenue, volume, profitability, collections, and overdue balances, to support business decision-making

• Prepare and present regular performance reports, highlighting key risks, opportunities, trends, and recommended actions to management

• Drive consistent execution of standard processes and identify, escalate, and report non-compliance issues

• Support internal and external audits, including VAT, financial, and operational audits, and ensure timely remediation of audit findings related to the process

• Provide financial insights, guidance, and analytical support to strengthen decision-making within Sales and Marketing functions

• Conduct revenue, cost, margin, and profit pool analysis to identify business performance drivers 

• Prepare brand and channel profitability analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making

• Perform other ad hoc assignments and projects as directed by management

REQUIREMENTS 

• University degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration, Finance, Accounting Professional certifications including - LCCI, CPA will be considered favourably

• At least 5-8 years of relevant work experience in FMCG or F&B industry

• Working knowledge and understanding of process risk management, process management and fraud management & compliance

• Experience in organising and leading cross-functional teams of individuals, assessing process and information flows, performing cost/benefit analyses, tracking results, developing recommendations and implementing changes that benefit business performance

• Strong quantitative, statistical and computer skills, with emphasis on the ability to perform sophisticated analysis with spreadsheet and/or database applications

• Good interpersonal skills working positively and sensitively with internal staff and external parties, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment 

• Self-motivated and independent, able to work with minimum supervision 

• Meticulous and highly organized in handling paperwork 

• Good time management and personal organization skills; ability to organize own work priorities and meet datelines 

• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and deal with unforeseen and urgent demands

• Must be a commercially minded team player 

• Good in English communication skills
