Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QS Engineer (or) Site QS Engineer to join Comet Design and Decoration in Yangon. This role supports interior design and decoration projects by managing cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tender support, and contract-related documents to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within budget. Key Responsibilities Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQ and cost estimates for projects. Conduct site measurements and verify actual quantities. Prepare material quantity calculations and cost breakdowns. Monitor project quantities, material usage and costs. Coordinate with Site Engineers, Contractors and Suppliers. Prepare quotations, variation orders and QS-related documents. Assist in project cost control and monitor project progress. Perform other QS-related duties as assigned.
Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements and project objectives. Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, mood boards, material boards, and design presentations. Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and realistic renderings for client approval. Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, colors, and decorative elements. Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers, and project teams. Prepare detailed drawings for furniture, ceiling, flooring, wall finishes, and custom joinery. Ensure designs are practical, functional, and aligned with the project budget and timeline. Conduct site visits to check progress, quality, and design implementation. Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements. Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
