Assist with the onboarding process for staff including documentation, orientation, and compliance with company policies. Perform detailed calculations for monthly payroll, including applicable overtime and allowances, in accordance with company policies and labor regulations. Offer administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining records, handling correspondence, and facilitating communication between departments. Ensure that the organization complies with labor laws and other statutory requirements, such as social security and employee benefits. Accurately record and maintain employee KPI scores on a monthly basis. Prepare and submit comprehensive On-the-Job Training (OJT) reports each month.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/MAS. Manage daily accounting operations and ensure proper documentation. Lead end-to-end grain procurement operations—primarily corn and other field crops—during harvest periods across key production zones. Develop and manage robust relationships with, trader networks, farmer groups, Brokers and local aggregators. Monitor regional market trends and price dynamics to inform timely, competitive purchasing decisions. Negotiate pricing and supply terms to ensure fair, transparent transactions while meeting volume and quality targets. Coordinate inbound logistics: schedule deliveries, collect samples, conduct quality assessments, and manage warehouse intake. Check weighbridge operations, ensuring documentation and transaction records are complete and accurate. Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure timely payment processing and inventory reconciliation. Maintain full compliance with GEOS procurement protocols, ethical sourcing policies, and internal documentation standards. Provide regular reporting on procurement performance, pricing trends, supplier feedback, and associated risks. Regular travel to grain-producing regions within Myanmar. Perform risk assessments and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls for core business operations. Identify weaknesses and discrepancies in Internal Control System and provide recommendations for improvement. Establish audit objectives, scope, and work programs for each engagement and present them to the Group Head of Internal Audit for approval. Implement annual audit plans as approved in the internal audit charter. Conduct preliminary surveys to understand the mission, vision, objectives, strategies, risks, and governance structures of the organization. Ensure internal auditing is conducted in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics defined by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Prepare and circulate draft audit reports and executive summaries to the Board and senior management. Submit significant findings and final internal audit reports to the Board of Directors (BOD) and senior management upon approval from the Head of Internal Audit. Monitor internal audit activities and staff engaged in financial and operational risk-based auditing. Conduct audit peer review meetings and issue draft audit reports within agreed timelines. Implement follow-up mechanisms to ensure audit recommendations are implemented within the agreed timetable.
Implement yearly and monthly internal audit plans as approved by management. Request and analyze required data, perform data analytics, and present findings to the Audit Manager for review in a timely manner. Use process mapping techniques to identify risks and weaknesses in internal controls for core business operations, and present findings to the Audit Manager. Ensure that internal audit activities, procedures, programs, and methodologies are designed to achieve audit objectives effectively. Prepare clear and concise audit notes, including audit findings, audit workings, and audit evidence, for review by the Audit Manager. Draft and present audit findings reports to the Audit Manager for review. Maintain audit evidence and permanent files in accordance with the Internal Audit Department’s documentation and filing policies.
Must be able to take full responsibility for accounting transitions. Proficient in preparing Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets using Microsoft Excel. Strong skills in Cash Flow Management. Able to prepare and report on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Inventory, and Cash & Bank reports accurately. Capable of providing Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports on time. Priority will be given to candidates with experience using SAP Accounting Software.
