Design and implement ELV system, including CCTV, Access control, Fire Alarm System, PBX System, Data Network system, etc. Provide site surveys and assessments to project requirements. Supervise the installation and commissioning of ELV systems on-site. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues. Monitor project schedules, and ensure timely completion of ELV-related tasks.
· Provide first-level support for database incidents, service requests, and issues. · Monitor database performance, availability, and system health. · Assist in database installation, configuration, and upgrades. · Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and patching. · Support troubleshooting of performance issues, errors, and failures. · Review logs, alerts, and reports to proactively identify issues. · Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve database-related problems. · Maintain proper documentation for operations, incidents, and procedures. · Ensure compliance with security policies and access control requirements. · Install and test new versions of the database management system (DBMS) · Work closely with IT project managers, database programmers and multimedia programmers · Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security · Commission and install new applications and customize existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose · Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.
A Technical Support Engineer will research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner. You will be responsible for working with different systems, software, and hardware and follow standard procedures to escalate unresolved issues to appropriate products owner. Responsibilities Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution. Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues. Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues. Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers. Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues. Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements. Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications. Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer. Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates. Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics. Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity.
