We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join Myanmar Metro Bank as a Manager in the Compliance function. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the bank’s operations fully comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a critical role in implementing and monitoring Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT), and fraud prevention measures, as well as fostering a culture of compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Compliance Management Monitor new and existing legislative and regulatory requirements and recommend effective policy updates to support organizational goals. Ensure robust implementation of AML, CFT, and fraud prevention policies throughout the bank. Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and report findings to senior management. Build and maintain professional relationships with regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank of Myanmar. Support internal compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. 2. Policy Implementation & Monitoring Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies, manuals, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory standards. Track and report suspicious transactions in accordance with AML/CFT obligations. Support business units by advising on compliance requirements for new products, services, and initiatives. Monitor employee and branch-level compliance with operational standards, escalating issues where necessary. 3. Training and Compliance Education Design and deliver training programs on compliance, AML/CFT, and fraud prevention to employees at all levels. Promote awareness of compliance culture and best practices across the bank. Provide guidance to staff on interpreting and applying compliance policies.

As the Audit Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the bank's operational integrity, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and aligning with regulatory standards. Implementing a risk-based audit approach, Internal Audit at the helm of assessing the bank's risk management practices, evaluating internal controls, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Risk-Based Audit & Assurance Implement a risk-based audit approach, prioritizing areas of highest risk to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the bank's risk management practices. Provide independent assurance on the relevance and reliability of financial and operational information. Examine the adequacy of the bank's risk management systems, identifying potential threats and recommending risk mitigation measures. Review and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls to safeguard assets and streamline operations. Compliance & Reporting Ensure strict conformance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and suggest corrective actions for deviations. Operational Leadership & Oversight Support the Head of Division in overseeing the day-to-day management of the Operations Support Division. Coordinate across multiple support functions to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations across the bank’s offices and branches. Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to strengthen operational resilience and service delivery. Procurement & Vendor Management Lead the bank’s procurement activities, including sourcing, contracting, negotiation, and performance evaluation. Ensure cost-effectiveness, transparency, and compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services. Facility & Property Management Oversee the construction, renovation, and maintenance of the bank’s physical infrastructure. Manage project budgets, contractor performance, and timelines to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations. Support the expansion and upgrading of branch networks in line with the bank’s growth strategy. Transport & Administrative Services Manage the bank’s vehicle fleet, including usage, maintenance, and cost control. Coordinate staff transportation services and office administrative needs across locations. Implement operational efficiencies in logistics and administrative workflows. Security Operations Oversee security for all physical locations, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and data. Develop and monitor physical security protocols, crisis response plans, and incident reporting systems. Liaise with local law enforcement and external security providers where required. Asset Management Maintain oversight of all bank assets, including asset tagging, records, depreciation schedules, and audits. Ensure accurate reporting and accountability of asset use across departments. Continuously review asset utilization and advise on optimization strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with business and support units to anticipate operational needs and provide timely, high-quality service. Support business continuity and risk mitigation initiatives across the organization.
