Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers of raw materials, components, and services. Negotiate favorable contracts, pricing, and terms for goods and services. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, ordering, and inventory control. Ensure materials and components are delivered on time to avoid production delays Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Production, Logistics, Finance) to synchronize procurement and manufacturing needs. Collaborate with the production team to forecast material requirements based on production schedules. Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess stock, ensuring efficient production flow.
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met. Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Identify and implement cost reduction and productivity improvement strategies. Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to improve performance. Ensure all products meet internal and external quality standards. Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
