We are seeking a detail-oriented System Accountant to join our team at Myanmar Software Integrated Solutions . This role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity, accuracy, and reporting efficiency of our core financial platform/system. You will act as the key liaison between Functional Consultants and our technical teams. Key Responsibilities • Reconciliation & Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of all financial data flowing through the core financial system. • Month-End Readiness: Verify that all financial transactions are correctly posted and the core system is ready for the Account Lead to complete the hard close and subsequent reporting processes. • Chart of Accounts [CoA] Oversight: Monitor the day-to-day use of the system's Chart of Accounts. Ensure all financial transactions, particularly those related to new or updated products/services, are mapped to the correct GL accounts. • Transaction Validation: Review and approve financial journal entries and batch transactions generated by or imported into the core system to confirm accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. • Data Analysis: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances identified in financial reports, tracing issues back to their source transaction in the core system. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing accounting processes by better leveraging the core system's functionalities. Clearly articulate these needs and potential solutions to the Functional Consultants. • UAT Support [Non-Technical]: Participate in the User Acceptance Testing [UAT] of new features, modules, or custom developments within the core system. Focus on validating that the accounting logic, GL postings, and overall financial impact meet business requirements and maintain compliance.
