Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available private cloud infrastructure. Deploy, configure, and manage virtualization platforms and software-defined storage solutions. Monitor and manage cloud-based systems and services to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes using appropriate automation tools. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders on cloud technologies and best practices. Collaborate with network and software teams to support infrastructure deployment and ongoing operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and system performance. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Participate in change management processes, including CAB (Change Advisory Board) reviews. Prepare, maintain, and update system documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Work closely with the Sales team to understand customer business and technical requirements. Conduct technical discovery sessions with customers to identify challenges, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Design appropriate cloud and infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements and business objectives. Prepare technical specifications, Bills of Materials (BoMs), infrastructure sizing, and capacity calculations. Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and supporting documentation. Deliver technical presentations, solution briefings, and product demonstrations. Coordinate with technology vendors and distributors regarding product specifications, compatibility, pricing, and technical support. Conduct technical workshops, architecture discussions, and whiteboarding sessions with customers and internal teams. Consider performance, availability, scalability, security, and cost when designing solutions. Work closely with the Sales team throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle. Identify technical upselling and cross-selling opportunities within customer environments.
