Installing wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers according to electrical codes and blueprints. Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for defects or wear and tear. Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems or malfunctions. Performing preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely. Collaborating with other team members, including electricians, engineers, and project managers, to complete projects on time and within budget. Adhering to safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks. Providing guidance and training to apprentice electricians or new team members. Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electrical technology.
