Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  1. Installing wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers according to electrical codes and blueprints.
  2. Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  3. Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for defects or wear and tear.
  4. Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems or malfunctions.
  5. Performing preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
  6. Collaborating with other team members, including electricians, engineers, and project managers, to complete projects on time and within budget.
  7. Adhering to safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  8. Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
  9. Providing guidance and training to apprentice electricians or new team members.
  10. Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electrical technology.

Job Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in electrical installation preferred.
  2. Valid electrical technician license or certification as required by state or local regulations.
  3. Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role.
  4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and blueprints.
  5. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  6. Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, wire strippers, and power drills.
  7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  8. Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments and conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
  9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  11. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
