Key Job Responsibilities

Planner

- Provide a range of master planning services relating to land use and infrastructure planning
- Provide services in macro strategic studies to microsite analysis and design work
- Provide industrial development services from site identification, project conceptualization, feasibility studies, master planning and urban design
- Formulate planning controls and guidelines in the downstream land parcellation, land sales and project implementation
- Co-ordinate in land allocation matters
- Liaise with the infrastructural engineers and other consultants such as landscape architects, architects, market analysts to ensure that all the components of the plan are integrated.
- Ensure that the master plan is rational, cost-effective and viable.
- Ensure that all plans drawn are based on good industry knowledge and understanding of the developer’s needs, cost-effective and exhibit elements of professional integrity
- Liaise with the relevant authorities on land procurement, boundaries and other land matters
- Provide planning, development control and design advice to the Lands and Estate Services department for land allocation and sub-divisions
- Supervise external town planning consultants who would be engaged to prepare master plans for the various industrial areas
- Undertake site planning, land plot parcellation and supply of plans for allocation of land plots
- Facilitate and check on planning submissions for compliance with conditions as spelt out in the licenses

Architect

- Prepare design briefs to external consultants

- Assist in regulating and reviewing designs executed by external parties for the organization

- Assist in formulating design guidelines for land and buildings

- Assist other sections to formulate design briefs for the land and building for the organization

- Provide design specifications and requirements for calling for tenders

- Work with external consultants on massing concept, 3D modelling and aesthetics

- Provide client’s inputs to consultants at the tender document preparation stage and project management stage

Knowledge

Role-specific knowledge:

- Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages Experience in Translation
- Experience in 3D Modeling; Drafting and Design
- EFFICIENCY IN SPOKEN ENGLISH AND WRITTEN ENGLISH. Added foreign language will be an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask - Strives for excellence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and use initiative Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines Work calmly under pressure

Technical Skills

- Demonstrated high degree of computer literacy and systems-oriented particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrated high degree of competency in Auto Cad and Revit
- Demonstrated high degree of competency in Etabs; and/or Staad Pro; and/or Primavera will be an added advantage
