Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Manage month-end accounting activities and coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines. Producing financial reports and conducting data analysis and reporting to finance manager and senior management.

- Monitor day-to-day accounting activities within the Ayeyar Hinthar Group
- Coordinating with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
- Handle full spectrum of financial and management reporting functions, business analysis, including consolidation, cash flow, budget and tax reporting
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures, statutory financial reporting and tax requirements
- Review and perform analytics and explain variances on financial results
- Review financial procedures, internal controls, business processes and systems to ensure effective controls are in place
- Liaise with both internal and external parties, including bankers, auditors and officers for compliance matters
- Manage to secure financial information by completing data base backups
- Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, special projects and presentation if necessary

Job Requirements

- Possess a degree in accountancy and/or CPA or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA Part II)
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial position
- Strong knowledge of Myanmar Accounting Standards and IFRS, costing, taxation and corporate governance
- Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, analytical & presentation skills and able to work under pressure
- Meticulous, hands-on, independent and self-motivated leader
- Must be a team player, task-oriented, ability to work in a highly dynamic, team environment and work with cross-functional teams
- Strong effective communication, reading and writing skills in both English and Myanmar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
- External audit experience is preferred
- SQL Accounting software knowledge is an advantage
