Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

• Utilize the transportation management system to manage the transportation and delivery of multi-temperature product from suppliers and to customers and cross docks
• Assign orders to vehicles and develop distribution routes to ensure on-time deliveries
• Monitor and ensure vehicles remain on schedule, including adherence to dispatch, break, and delivery times
• Ensure loads and deliveries comply with strict quality requirements through monitoring of temperature and other measures
• Generate operational, quality, and analytical reports to support operational supervisors, managers, and client teams
• Work in conjunction with the Warehouse & Supply Chain Departments to plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor fuel, driving behavior, and other operational measures to optimize cost
• Work with supervisors to schedule drivers in the transportation management system

Job Requirements

1. Experience using computers and computer software is required
2. Experience and/or knowledge of transportation and/or deliveries in a distribution environment is preferred
3. Intermediate Microsoft Excel and/or data analysis skills
1. Assertive with an attention to detail
2. Analytical and able to make sense out of numbers
3. Inquisitive with a high level of curiosity
4. High degree of integrity and trustworthiness
5. Positive, can-do attitude
6. Ability to work well with others, even in stressful and ambiguous times
