Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

• Site coordination, handling suppliers, subcontractors & consultants to ensure on time completion
• Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings with contractors and consultants and submit daily work progress reports to management
• Check construction drawings for accuracy and completeness for construction
• Monitor the contractors’ ensure work on site is carried out according to specifications and requirements
• Ensure work on site complies to all relevant safety requirements
• Understand the project development plan
• Provide assistance to community-based participatory projects in line with the M&AOSB Social Management Framework and CSR Work Programs
• Ensure all facilities are constructed to the required quality level.
• Perform site supervision.
• Support development of fit for purpose and economic supply base, in order to achieve the best possible construction results.

Periodically, the employee may be expected to perform assigned duties and tasks not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other departments when necessary.

Job Requirements

Education / Experience
• University degree in Civil Engineering ( or ) Marine Engineering
• Minimum 4 years experience from a construction site.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Port and Harbor Engineering
• At least 5 years related experience with 3 years in Construction
• Work independently with minimum supervision and a team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD
• Willing to station in remote area and able to drive a motorbike
• Able to interpret drawings
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Passionate about HSE
• Able to communicate with multiple group of stakeholders

Special Skills
• QC and HSSE minded.
• Good communication with Construction Manager and management and local community.
