Wireless Engineer
Position summary: A field engineer must have a solid technical background.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

1) Installs, terminates, tests, troubleshoots, and certifies
a. fiber optic
b. copper cable systems and support structures;
2) Provides first level quality assurance
3) Co-operation within teams to complete project requirements.
4) Provide excellent time management and reporting skills
5) Complete all assigned projects and tasks
6) Communication—Tracking/monitoring issues, providing notes/feedback, etc.
7) Install, maintain, troubleshoots wireless long/short range setup/tshoot.
8) Hands on experience with troubleshooting and site survey tools like Wireshark, Air Magnet, and Channelizer to improve wireless networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors, managers, and network engineers.
9) Design and validate performance, quality, and reliability of RF link.
10) Design and implement wireless LANs and the other wireless networks.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the IT/Telecom industry with the ability to work independently or as a supervisor of a team. Minimal of bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mathematics, engineering or computer science.
• Develop and maintain red-lined as-built annotations to project drawings, proficient in proper installation of structured cable systems devices including conduit, cable trays, racks, patch panels, cable management systems, outlets, jacks, and cable support systems and working knowledge of fiber optic and copper cable terms and concepts, including Ethernet, installation codes, practices and procedures.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP. CCNP (wireless) or CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional) is preferred but not required.
• Be Familiar with Cambium, Ubiquity and Ruckus long range wireless devices.

Technicians must be able to work overtime, weekends, after hours, and travel as needed. Must be able to work 24/7 service call as required.
