The Role: As our Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, providing critical insights to support business decisions, and contributing to our overall financial health.
Key Responsibilities: 

• Financial Management : Manage all finanical transactions, including accounts payable, account receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Inventory & Cost Accounting: This is core function of the role. You will be responsible for tracking and valuing raw materials, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory.
• Financial reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cashflow statements, in compliance with GAAP.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 years of experience as an accountant, with a significant portion in the apparel, fashion, or textile manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with inventory and cost accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etcs)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-funtional teams (e.g. production, design, sales).
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
