Job Description

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities 

 

  • Perform daily operation of the Finance Department 
  • Monitor and control of cash receipts and disbursements. 
  • Implementing and integrated accounting system and supervise computerized financial accounting. 
  • Perform a full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts. 
  • Check and verify expenses and ensure that payment transactions are properly authorized and keep them in account order, keep proper record and documentation.
  • Control the AR/AP process in the company, notice to client to collect money and prepare the payment to the supplier on the due date. 
  • Follow up company’s account receivables and update relative project manager when necessary 
  • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances, cost analysis and calculating project profit & loss. 
  • Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and control.  
  • Support the monthly closing of financial statements 
  • Manage the company’s fixed asset (equipment, computer, furniture, tool and others) by proper methods (labelling on the asset, logging to book for the asset in and out, bookkeeping)  
  • Preparation of Corporate Income Tax, Commercial Tax, Withholding Tax, Form 31, Personal Income Tax and indirect tax returns; 
  • Liaise with auditors and tax officer on regulatory matters  
  • Establish and maintain all statutory registers that are required to be kept by the Company and ensure that all statutory books comply with financial reporting standard 
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required 
  • Assist the administrative requirements

Job Requirements

DESIRED PROFILE
We are looking for applicants with the following profile:
 

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA qualification 
  • Min 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting 
  • Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel, Email and Internet 
  • Able to work independently and highly meticulous. 
  • Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Good comment on the English Language 
  • Experience in Xero would be appreciated
