JOB DESCRIPTION

● Cash flow forecasts are prepared weekly and support division Treasury function
● Payment obligations are met; interest payments, capital repayments, payments to group companies and
outsiders
● Prepare and review monthly reconciliations with Financial Controller/FD and spot checks carried out on deals
● Trade spend by Sales accurately accounted for on monthly basis
● Rebate account in General Ledger is reconciled and authorized monthly
● Over and under provisions are reported to Financial Controller
● Calculate Qtrl and yearly tax returns for Commercial tax, Corporate Income Tax and Capital Gain Tax
● Provisional tax payments made timeously
● Submitted Tax returns timeously to avoid fines, penalties and interest
● Statutory returns are submitted annually and timeously
● Tax queries are competently resolved
● Support month end, Qtrl end and financial year-end schedules with cross functional members and complied with Group requirements
● Internal controls reviewed annually and compliant with Group requirements
● Internal control documents correctly filed
● Financial Statements completed following audit
● Ensure all cash & bank accounts are reconciled monthly
● Detect and address potential compliance and internal control issues proactively with Financial Controller and Internal auditor
● Internal stakeholders given accurate financial information when required
● Ongoing communication with banks and other government bodies
● Auditors receive required financial information
● Support the Division and Global tax team with local statutory, tax reporting and compliance within the legal entity

● Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
● Perform necessary Ad hoc duties which are ordered by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

● EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is a must (Costing is preferable)
● MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Experience in FMCG is preferred,
● SKILL/KNOWLEDGE :
a. Solid accounting experience, including previous experience in a senior accountant role is a must
b. Good legal statutory knowledge and experience is required
c. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
d. Fluent in English
