Job Description

Verifying and reviewing business unit general ledger transactions in accordance with company standards.
Validate, assign, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Lead in the establishment of financial standards.
Review tax calculations and reports on a regular basis to ensure compliance, including the determination and management of corporate income tax, PIT, and commercial tax.
Review daily transactions with related departments.
Budget preparation and budgetary oversight in support of business strategies
Prepare financial Performance Ratio Analysis & Cost Analysis.
Collaborate in unison with tax audits and tax returns.
Supervise the month-end financial closing procedure and guarantee the timely completion of financial analysis and the reporting of monthly and yearly financial statements.
Review and verify journal entries to generate data analysis and reports, as well as aid in variance analysis.
Actively support the management of overall financial forecasting processes.
Review financial records to ensure they adhere with company policies and accounting principles.
Undertake a regular review of the accuracy of regulatory calculations and submissions.
Ensure document business processes, compliance, and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures.
Conduct all required training to ensure that the team's expertise and abilities continue to be updated.
Examine the actual operation and ground condition of business units in relation to accounting practice.
Enforced compliance with deadlines for the completion of all assigned accounting duties through the supervision and education of team members.
Oversee daily operations, designate responsibilities to subordinates, and track the completion of tasks.
Perform other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Job Requirements

BSc/BA in accounting, finance, and B. Com, CPA or ACC or a relevant field.
Proven experience as a chief accountant and in management.
Over 8-10 years of experience in the accounting field and financial leadership.
Proficient with Office 365 suit.
Must be trustworthy, have a pleasant personality, and be diligent.
Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
Capability to adjust to changing organizational and operational circumstances.
Specificity, a high degree of precision, effectiveness, and responsibility are required.
Capability to supervise, direct, and lead the team while ensuring the use of appropriate financial procedures.
A willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
