The role of a Chinese Language Educator is responsible for facilitating learning that challenges and supports all students in an equitable and safe environment and that meets core values of the curriculum.

Job Responsibilities

- Planning, developing and implementing the curriculum

- Assessing and documenting student progress toward curricular goals and language proficiency.

- Attend teacher meetings to develop curriculum and lesson plans.

- Providing direct services to students, consulting with other professionals, meeting and discussing issues with parents, planning, delivering, and evaluating instructional outcomes.

- Working as a team member, sharing common planning, professional development, curriculum design

- Conducting parent conferences as requested by the school site

- Participating in department and school meetings

- Work effectively with our teachers to deliver excellence in the student learning experience.

- University graduate or above in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Chinese Language, Pedagogy and so forth.

- Rich Experience (at least 3 years)

- Exceptionally professional and familiar with pedagogy and the use of multimedia

- Having strong passion and affinity for students, good at communication, highly responsible and competent in learning and innovation

- Intermediate level in English Language Proficiency

- Knowing a Chinese dialect.
- Participating in school initiatives.
- Have the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Enthusiastic, confident, and energetic about working with all language levels.
- Knowledge of communicative language teaching techniques for adults and young learners.
- Fluency in spoken English and Mandarin Chinese both in spoken and written.
- Knowing traditional Chinese is a plus.
- Basic Knowledge of computers, software and applications.
