Overview of the positions:

We are looking to hire infrastructure professionals for multiple positions under upcoming infrastructure development projects with our client in Myanmar. 

Under instructions & directions of the TL, Site Engineer, PM the team members shall cooperatively be working side by side & perform all tasks assigned perfectly, including but not limited to:

• Conduct site visits to the assigned health facilities, to assess & identify rehabilitation needs & requirements for all buildings & departments of the targeted hospital & for all works & aspects such as civil works, WASH works, electrical works, mechanical works & equipment, medical equipment & devices, furniture, etc.
• Conducting all survey woks & preparing all as built drawings accordingly (general site plan of the health centre including buildings & all infrastructure utilities such as sanitation networks, water supply networks, roads, etc.
• Conduct visual inspection to identify types & integrity of structural systems of the buildings of the hospital.
• Inventory all damages & identification of rehabilitation works needed for all works & utilities (civil works, WASH works, electrical works, mechanical works & equipment, etc.
• Examining all broken medical equipment, devices & identifying maintenance requirements.
• Identify the important missing equipment, devices, tools, furniture, etc. needed.
• Prepare all designs required in proper & professional way (architectural design, structural analysis & design, electrical design, mechanical design, etc.).
• Prepare all drawings & details of the required works in professional way (architectural drawings, structural drawings, electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, etc.).
• Prepare measurement & calculation sheets of all required works.
• Prepare BOQ's & specifications of all required works (civil works, WASH works, electrical works, mechanical works, maintenance of medical works, furniture, etc.) in local language & English, according to the typical BOQs.
• Prepare estimated cost of all rehabilitation works.

Education:
• University Degree in Civil Engineering.
Work experience:
• Relevant numbers of years of working experience in project assessment, design & management experience in rehabilitation projects & construction projects.
• A previous experience in rehabilitation & construction of hospitals is an asset.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills is preferable.
• Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in the usage of computers & software packages (drawing software, structural software, office (MS Word, Excel, etc.) & advance knowledge of spreadsheet & database packages is required
