Job Description
Position Title: Event & Outreach Officer
Department: Marketing & Student Recruitment
Location: Yangon, Myanmar
Reports to: GM/Founder (or Marketing Manager, if appointed)
Salary Range: 600,000 – 800,000 MMK per month (based on experience and qualifications)
Summary (Read This First)
The Event & Outreach Officer is a senior role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing Elevate Education’s national-level events, outreach campaigns, and school engagement activities.
Unlike the Event & Outreach Assistant, who focuses on logistics and support, the Officer is accountable for end-to-end ownership: strategy, execution, partnerships, lead generation, and reporting. This role requires someone with proven experience in event and outreach management, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver measurable student recruitment results.
Key Responsibilities & KPIs

Event Leadership

Plan, execute, and oversee all Elevate monthly and quarterly events (education fairs, seminar days, school outreach, pop-ups).

KPI: Minimum 1 student-focused event per month and 1 flagship event per quarter.

KPI: Each event must generate 200–300 qualified leads (depending on scale).

Outreach Expansion

Develop and manage relationships with schools, vendors, and student networks.

KPI: Identify and propose at least 5 new outreach opportunities per quarter.

Team Supervision

Logistics & Vendor Management

Manage venue bookings, supplier negotiations, and cost control.

KPI: Deliver all events within approved budget with zero last-minute cancellations.

Onsite Leadership

Take full ownership of setup, registration, booth control, and lead collection.

KPI: Minimum 95% student check-in accuracy and lead form completion.

Reporting & Accountability

Submit event reports, expenses, and lead data.

KPI: 100% reports delivered within 48 hours post-event.

Campaign Integration

Flexibility & Travel

Travel across Myanmar for events and school partnerships.

KPI: Zero missed assigned events, even if weekends/evenings are required.
Career Path

Successful Officers may progress to Event & Outreach Manager, leading Elevate’s national and regional campaigns.
