Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  1. Review every accounting transactions and analyze financial statements, and lead the annual audit project
  2. Organize physical count of the assets and inventory regularly, analyze the variance and provide countermeasures
  3. Overall in charge of the organisation's operational financial system and responsible for directing the accounting functions, establishing and maintaining the accounting principles as well as overseeing the preparation of financial reports.
  4. Responsible for financial accounting, compliance reporting and budget preparation as well as systems development and improvement.  Work with stakeholders in costing exercises, the costing for services and programmes and to identify opportunities and develop strategies in cost management.
  5. Perform financial modelling and analysis to facilitate fee revisions and cost management and also participate in assigned projects.
  6. Formulate and administer general  accounting practices in adherence with corporate accounting policy and internal audit guidelines; interprets data, and prepares financial analyses of operations for the guidance of management.
  7. Responsible for developing and reviewing budgets for internal proposals and providing monthly budget reports to the company and stakeholders; working closely with them to enable them to make accurate decisions.
  8. Prepare annual statutory accounts; provide accurate cash-flow projections to the Finance Committee, Board of Directors and Stakeholders. Act as the first point of contact for the auditors and communicate with them effectively on information required.
  9. Provide management support for timely payments of debtors and invoicing of creditors and responsible for Accounts Payable functions and management of monthly and year end close. Identify, develop and implement financial SOPs and Policies for the organisation including  invoice/payments, etc. and ensure that all finance records are kept accurately and securely in line with legislative and Management’s requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other professional accounting qualifications. Possession of a Chartered Accountant qualification or its equivalent would be an advantage
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a managerial role. 

Proficiency in using Office software and financial software;

9. With high willingness and ability to continuously learn, with a strong sense of risk, and be good at team building and management;

10. Quick thinking, strong problem solving and time management skills, ability to work effectively both independently and as a team player
