  1. Report to Head of Finance -Finance Manager and work closely with senior management to provide overall financial support. Analyze data and understands the financial performance and position of the organization in order to perform financial analysis and identify key areas for the business growth.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business’s medium to long term financial and strategic plan
  2. Managing and preparing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning according to the Group timeline
  3. Analyze monthly actuals against budget/forecast and prior year
  4. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the performance of the business to the senior management
  5. Support decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance
  6. Working with Business Development team on the new stores Feasibility Study build in the reporting
  7. Monitor the weekly/monthly/ yearly sales, profit & loss report required by YUM
  8. Participate in Marketing’s pre/post sales analysis on the monthly sales promotion programs
  9. Maintain banking relationships and liaise with bank on the quarterly loan drawdown process
  10. Communicate results and recommendations to senior management that will lead to revenue generation, cost reduction and more efficient operations
  11. Perform ad hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making
  12. Support and participate in new ERP system implementation if any

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting related field
  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • English (fluent)
  • Experience in retail, F&B or FMCG industry is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance field
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Able to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to handle financial planning & analysis (FP&A) work
  • Computer skills: Proficient PC skills (MS Office related applications especially in Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Hands On – willing to work ‘at the coal face’
  • Understands, learns, and adapts to changes
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork
  • Maintains a positive ‘can-do’ approach
  • Maintains high work standards and integrity
