Job Description

Position Overview: The Group Financial Analyst and Auditor will be responsible for overseeing and consolidating the financial performance of the diverse business units within the group, which include a plastic packaging factory, a petrol shop franchise, and a construction company. This role involves conducting in-depth financial analysis, performing internal audits, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance financial health and operational efficiency across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

• Consolidate financial statements from each business unit and provide comprehensive group-level financial reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Evaluate the financial performance of each business unit and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Internal Audit:

• Design and implement internal audit plans and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of financial statements, processes, and controls across all business units.
• Identify risks and areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial analysis, audit findings, and recommendations.
• Ensure all financial records are compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with the chief accountants of each business unit to gather necessary financial information and ensure consistency in reporting.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of any audit issues.
• Provide financial training and support to accounting teams within the group as needed.

• Background in manufacturing, retail, or construction industries is an advantage.
