Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

On behalf of our Client, a farm equipment supplier. We are looking for a: Head of Operations (Microfinance) to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors the operations of all the branches in guidance of MFI laws & regulations and attends relevant government departments’ meeting
  • Coordinates with Finance Department to facilitate FRD’s ground inspection & audit processes and monitors the timely submission of regional data, monthly & annual reports to FRD
  • Reviews the business plans & KPI plans submitted by all branches and presents to Executive Director for finalization
  • Supervises the full implementation of KPIs set by the operation department
  • Supervises the meetings with all branches and manages the operations of all branches
  • Visits all branches once every 6 months and handles for all branches of Business Development & Loan Operations
  • Eliminates fraud cases & violations of profession codes of ethics at operation level and immediately reports to management team in observation of such cases
  • Monitors the compliance of credit policy during loan process and the compliance of monitoring policy post loan disbursement
  • Manages the overdue cases according to the predefined rates & procedure and personally takes part in collection process if necessary
  • Coordinates with Finance Department to review the branch level cost in accordance to budget plan set
  • Plans staff trainings for overall staff skills development
  • Conducts regular weekly & monthly meetings with all branches and presents the respective needs to management team in a timely manner
  • Cooperates with Business Development Department to implement the business development and expansion activities
  • Develops the branch level staffs’ leadership skills needed for future career development
  • Monitors all branch staffs’ supports towards Good Brothers’ Group’s business activities

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • University Degree with any major subject
  • Holding an MBA or education background in fields relevant to MFI’s operations would be an advantage
  • At least 10 years of experience (Must be 5 years of relevant experience in Microfinance field)
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, sociability skills and multicultural skills
  • Excellent command of English Language and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Willing to travel as business trips
