Provides support to the Base Manage in the following areas.

• Carry out the day to day operation of HSE oversight on the Magway operating area for Ben Line and our client. Contribute to the application of operational Health, Safety and Environmental management by providing technical support. E.g. fire prevention, dropped objects, rolling stock operations etc. & other pertinent rules and regulations as outlined by our client.
• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessment and other safety assessment. Conducts OJT training sessions in safe rigging and slinging & general welfare of the Supply Base work force.
• Have knowledge and enforce compliance of Regulatory requirements of OSHA, Client, BLA & Myanmar country requirements.
• Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation and prepare reports on any incidents, near misses or LTI’s. Prepares and collates daily morning reports on shore base activities, man hours worked, rolling stock hours worked or idle, LTI or near miss incidents and forwards to Ben Line and other related parties. Maintains any other HSE logs on a daily basis and collates for monthly and annual roll up.
• Direct and manage the facility security guard force, maintains attendance records and conducts physical checks on guard force alertness.
• Ensures that all employees wear correct PPE and comply with rules and regulations as they pertain to HSE. Provide safety orientation for all visitors.
• Conducts risk assessment in the entire area of operations and provides guidance to department heads on mitigation action of any risks found.
• In the event of an incident or accident lead the investigation and perform root cause analysis, submit report to management on completion of investigation with recommendations on preventative actions to mitigate future incidences.
• Administer first aid in the event of minor injury or accident.
• Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees as well as local civic leaders.
• Ensures good housekeeping practices are followed at all times.
• Perform other work related tasks as required or assigned.

Required qualifications

• Must be fully conversant with good oilfield practices in the upstream O&G drilling, production and construction arena, and must be willing to impart that knowledge to other employees.
• Strong English language skills.
• Strong HES knowledge
• At least 10 years supervisory experiences in logistics, warehouse operations and/or material management.
• Strong computer skills in, MS Word and Excel, Microsoft Office 365 systems and familiar with internet and computer applications.
