On behalf of our Client, a large conglomerate. We are looking for a: HSE Supervisor to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports project and operation team in all aspects of occupational health, safety and environmental issues
• Ensures HSE compliance onshore and offshore, performs regular HSE audit in the areas of business and vessel operations
• Participates in the pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters
• Develops the HSE SOPs and ERP (Emergency Response Plan) to be aligned with company and Government Guidelines as well as tenant requirements
• Conducts the HSE trainings; fire drills, emergency response system/plan
• Executes occupational safety & health plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
• Ensures all worksites are HSE compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Assists in ad-hoc HSE tasks/projects as required
• Assists in all HSE related documents for Facility Management Department as required
• Ensures to align with HSE standard when handling the machines and equipment
• Ensures all storage area of diesel, cleaning chemical are used according to the local authority rules and HSE requirements
• Performs disposing chemicals should be complied with local authority rules or building rules
• Inspects the suitability, completeness, and correctness of the use of Safety symbols/ signboards/ notices/ warnings/ cautions announced at different working areas
• Be flexible in changing the work schedule as needed

Job Requirements

• University degree in any major subject
• Having Fire Safety Manager certification is compulsory
• Proven experience in implementation of Safety & Security Frameworks
• Must have 2 years’ industrial experience, minimum 3 years’ experience in High Rise/ Class A building/ Hotel/ Commercial Building as HSE Supervisor
• Good communication, negotiation and leadership skills
• Excellent command of the English Language
• Be able to travel as business trips
