Manage the quantity surveying and commercial aspects of MEP works for interior fit-out projects.

Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimates, and material specifications for MEP works.

Measure and calculate quantities for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, HVAC, and other MEP systems.

Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify project requirements and potential cost impacts.

Prepare project budgets, cost plans, tender documents, and cost comparisons.

Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate prices where necessary.

Monitor project costs and ensure MEP works are delivered within the approved budget.

Prepare and evaluate Variation Orders (VO), claims, and additional works.

Verify subcontractor progress claims, payment applications, and supporting documents.

Coordinate with Project Managers, MEP Engineers, Designers, Site Teams, Contractors, and Suppliers regarding commercial and technical matters.

Conduct regular site visits to verify completed quantities and ensure work progress is properly recorded.

Maintain accurate records of project costs, measurements, variations, contracts, and payment certificates.

Assist with procurement and material cost control for MEP works.

Prepare regular cost reports and provide commercial updates to management.

Support the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in MEP and Interior Fit-Out projects.

Strong knowledge of MEP systems.

Good understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction methods.

Experienced in quantity take-off and measurement of MEP works.

Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.

Experience in evaluating subcontractor quotations and payment claims.

Familiarity with Variation Orders, claims, and final accounts.

Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant quantity surveying software.

Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings; knowledge of measurement/take-off software is an advantage.

Good negotiation, communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.

Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Good command of English is preferred.
