We are an edible oil manufacturing company operating a solvent extraction and refinery plant with a capacity of 100 MT/day for extraction and 50 MT/day for fefinery. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead plant operations, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent product quality.  Lead to optimize plant efficiency, oil recovery, product quality, production target and operational safety.

 Production Operations Management

• Manage daily operation of pretreatment plant, solvent extraction plant and refinery section
• Ensure smooth operation of: Pretreatment plant  , Solvent extraction system, Refinery plant  & bottle filling lines.
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly production targets
• Monitor plant performance (yield, recovery %, losses)

Process Optimization

• Control key process parameters: Temperature, pressure, vacuum, steam consumption
• Solvent circulation efficiency
• Reduce oil loss in meal and wastewater
• Improve extraction yield and refinery efficiency
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements

 Manpower & Shift/Team Management

• Manage production supervisors, operators, and shift teams
• Prepare shift schedules and ensure smooth handover
• Conduct training for operators on SOP and safety
• Monitor discipline, productivity, and performance

Quality Control Coordination

• Ensure compliance with edible oil quality standards: FFA, color, moisture, peroxide value
• Coordinate with QA/QC department
• Maintain GMP, ISO, HACCP, and food safety compliance
• Handle customer complaints related to product quality.

Safety & Environment

• Enforce plant safety rules in solvent handling area
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
• Monitor PPE usage and safe working practices

Reporting & Documentation

• Daily production report (oil recovery, losses, downtime)
• Chemical & utility consumption report
• Production efficiency analysis

Coordination

• Work closely with Maintenance, QA/QC, Warehouse, and Utility teams
• Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdown prevention
• Support procurement planning for raw materials and chemicals

Education

• Bachelor Degree in: Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering OR  Food Technology / Industrial Chemistry

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years in experience and managerial role for Solvent extraction plant OR edible oil refinery plant
• Strong understanding of edible oil processing technology.
