An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Follow instructions Safely, efficiently and correctly operate the Production/Separation System, Desanding System, JT Dew Point System, MEG Regeneration and Reclamation System, Gas Export Compression System, Produced Water Treatment & Condensate Disposal System, HP/LP Flare System, Open/Closed Drain System, Fire & Deluge System, Metering System, CCR Operation, Fire and Gas Detection System / Utility Systems and report clearly to the Production Lead and CRO as appropriate.
  • Monitoring and recording the correct functioning activities of plant and utilities equipment accurately. Make adjustments to production streams and well streams under direction of Production Lead.
  • Follow instruction and Control process operating system, following relevant safety procedures. Monitor and maintain chemical injection equipment and monitor dosage rates efficiently.
  • Attend safety briefings and pre-job safety talks and actively participate.
  • Carry out simple first line maintenance on the equipment related to plant processes.
  • Assist with re-initiating all systems and associated equipment following a unit trip, PSD or plant ESD. Carry out performance and compliance testing of wells, diagnosis and optimization of production systems. 
  • Operate Process and Well control equipment and panel.
  • Recognize problems and report to the Production Lead.
  • Kept accurate log of all events and activities of the SHP Process Operations.
  • Assume the role as required in the Emergency Response Team as designated in the event of station emergency situations.
  • Perform gas tests and isolations as per permit to work and safe entry permits specific to the process systems. 
  • Report to the Production Lead all relevant matters to the safe operations of the plant.
  • Show interest and ability to learn both through study and OJT from more senior personnel. 
  • Demonstrate initiative while strictly following instructions.
  • Attend Platform activities and toolbox talk Shift meeting. Attend Production Department toolbox talk Shift meeting.
  • Check process operating status ensuring safety, accident and trouble-free Plant Operations, recording and reporting operating parameters as requested.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance works within capabilities and under instruction from Lead or Supervisor. Provide support as requested, during operations and troubleshooting.
  • Validate production work progress and provide feedback to the Production Lead. Carry out proper shift handovers ensuring all critical activities being addressed.
  • Provide an accurate log of all events and activities relating to the SHP Process Operations. Monitor Chemical usage and report anomalies.
  • Assist with chemical inventory.
  • Carry out process plant readings and data recording accurately, ensuring all parameters are within the normal operating set points.
  • Work towards completion of Production Competencies at Levels 1, 2 and 3.

  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience in commissioning, start-up and maintenance offshore Oil & Gas Industry is preferred.
  • Specific hands-on experience in production/separation, desanding, JT dew point, MEG regeneration and reclamation, gas export compression, produced water treatment & condensate disposal, HP/LP flare system, open/closed drain system, metering, fire & gas detection and utility systems.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural workforce and environment would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in English both written & spoken with good personal/ interpersonal skills.
  • Team working and ability to follow instructions and comply with safety standards.
  • Aptitude for self-development, motivation to progress.
