  • Conduct detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and client expectations.
  • Supervise and lead a team of quantity surveyors to accurately measure and quantify project requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate variations in project scope, providing timely and accurate reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective coordination between quantity surveying, engineering, and project execution.
  • Review and analyze contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and manage risks related to cost, schedule, and quality, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, cost implications, and potential challenges.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry regulations.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools and applications for quantity surveying and project management.
  • Knowledge on FIDIC
