Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
  • Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Prepare and maintain the report of monthly forecast accuracy and bias analysis and root causes of bias/inaccuracy

  • To aggregate demand then translate into the supply need and finished goods ordering plan

  • Monitor and control the full pipeline inventories to ensure availability as per requirement

  • Control the inventory level at OSP MM Factory and DCs

  • Plan for weekly, monthly stock replenishment at warehouses (factory, Yangon, Mandalay

  • Monitor the slow moving and obsolete stock to minimized write off cost of raw materials, packing materials and finish goods

  • Act as a linking pin between commercial side, supply side and production side

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree preferable in Science, Economic or Statistic with adequate knowledge in English language (Thai language will be of advantage).
  • Knowledge in using computers is advantageous (E:mail, Microsoft Excell, Word Perfect, Power Point, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field.
  • Experience with SAP /JDA will be of advantage.
