・Develop safety and health programs to train, educate, evaluate, promote safe work practices in the company and the manufacturing plant.
・Monitor legislative changes for existing and new acts and regulations ensuring the organisation is prepared and compliant with the changes.
・Carries out analysis of accident/incident/unsafe condition statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
・Provide safety and health trainings and education displays on the premise.
・Conduct risk assessments and audit compliance of preventive measures.
・Regularly inspect the work place for potential hazards in particular the high-risk areas identified in the corporate safety policies.
・Coach work teams to see these potential hazards, assess the risks and report through the companies incident management system.
・Conduct safety awareness drills, , to ensure staff are aware of what to do in an emergency.
・Drills should consider key likely emergencies such as Fire, Flood, Explosion, Injury, Confined Space or Environmental excursion,
・Respond to investigate accidents and emergencies.
・Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and health System procedures and update regularly.
・Conducts safety audits both internal and external.
・Follow and support the instructions of superiors and managers regarding health, safety and environmental matters.
