Job Description

  • Ensure accurate and complete financial, transactional and vendor/customer records are maintained.
  • Oversee routine department operations to ensure efficient processing and timely disbursements of payments.
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients and contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices and Reconcile any irregularities
  • Maintain precise records of all incoming payments from customers and all outgoing payments to vendors.
  • Audit all receipts on a determined schedule to ensure accuracy in accounting
  • Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments
  • Analyse and report financial information to Management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to all stakeholders involved in the new Procure-To-Pay system, guidance and advice on best practices among all centralized Business Units.
  • Partner with Head of Procurement and Head of Business IT  to address the post implementation system issues while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processes.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and focusing on quality, increased efficiencies, and internal controls as well as motivating and leading the team through these changes.
  • Handle other projects and finance related duties as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively in a professional, tactful, and courteous manner with team members, cross-function, customers, and banks.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others and establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships
  • Ability to effectively supervise and motivate personnel and develop staff in the team to deliver the KPIs.
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have experience in driving Operational Excellence (OE) and value creation.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or other related field may be necessary.
  • A Certified Public Accounting or similar professional title may be preferred but not mandatory
  • 10-15 years experience and atleast 5 years managerial role in dynamic and fast pace industry
  • Familiarity with industry-standard accounting software, such as ERP.
