Mechanical Design (Mechatronics Preferred) Responsibilities:

• Be a Technical design lead.
• Create 2D and 3D designs for mechanical systems, emphasizing real-world functionality.
• Use advanced CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for precise design drawings.
• Optimize individual parts for performance.
• Develop prototypes to validate functionality, assembly, and performance.
• Conduct tolerance analyses to meet safety standards and evaluate prototypes.
• Participate in design reviews, provide technical guidance, and troubleshoot challenges.
• Knowledge of detail assembly drawing.
• Calculations in kinematics, dynamics, pneumatics, and servo motion analysis required for designing automation mechanisms and equipment.

• Mechanical Design Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and other relevant design and analysis tools.
• 10+ years in mechanical design for robotics or automation systems with a strong focus on real design, part, and component design.
• Strong understanding of robotics principles, kinematics, and control systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering (e.g., ASME, ISO).
• In-depth knowledge of design for manufacturability and design for assembly principles.
• Experience with industrial or collaborative robots.
• Experience in rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with simulation and modelling tools, such as ROS (Robot Operating System) is preferred.
• Extensive experience in finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation, specifically focused on part and component behavior is preferred.
