Job Function:

Senior Procurement and Logistics Officer oversee procurement and logistics operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, coordinating logistics processes, and supporting operational efficiency through process improvements and cost control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement process independently, including sourcing, quotations, vendor selection, order placement, and contract management.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure best pricing, terms, and quality of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintain relationships, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency across procurement activities.
• Prepare and submit procurement reports, analyses, and recommendations for management decision-making.
• Lead logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Supervise and guide the logistics team to ensure efficient execution of operations.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
• Lead and manage internal teams and external service providers for logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies across all logistics operations.
• Plan and manage staff ferry arrangements, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
• Oversee office car operations, including scheduling, driver management, maintenance, and usage optimization.
• Monitor usage and cost of staff transport and office vehicles and recommend improvements.
• Support company events, training sessions, and operational projects requiring procurement or logistics support.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, contracts, transport, and logistics activities.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, costs, and operational efficiency for management review.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
•  Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement and logistics, with at least 2 years in a senior officer or leadership role.
• Experience leading transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/logistics software systems.
