Responsible to make sure that the latest approved method of statements and drawings are used by site engineers and subcontractors in doing site activities.
Provide induction trainings to make sure that approved method of statements, drawings and special notifications (if necessary) are well understood and acknowledged by junior QA/QC engineers, site engineers, supervisors and sub-contractors. To prepare and keep training records and attendance list for the reference of quality assurance activities.
Conduct random site visits and inspections and/or observation for construction quality control.
Perform internal inspections to make sure that each specific site activities are properly done and within tolerance prior to joint inspections by the main contractor (the client, TC) and the engineer (CMC and MR).
Coordinate with main contractor’s and the engineer’s inspectors to make sure that all quality activities are effectively and smoothly done with satisfactory results.
Monitor and evaluate the workmanship of subcontractors and report to the management.
Supervise junior QA/QC engineers and provide weekly trainings and inductions such as knowledge sharing meetings to improve their performance and abilities.
Coordinates with site engineers and subcontractors to foresee the possible quality issues and risks.
Prepare daily and weekly schedule of QA/QC activities in advance and report to QA/QC Manager.
Prepare and send inspection request to TC after internal inspections are finished.
Review inspection reports which are prepared by junior QA/QC engineers.
Assist QA/QC manager in preparation of Quality Document such as Project Quality Plan, method of statements, inspections test plans and inspection checklists (if necessary).
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Coordinate with managers, team leaders, senior site engineers from operation and procurement departments, and subcontractors to confirm require materials and to prepare and submit RFA (request for approval) in advance manner to get approval for the materials from the engineer (CMC) before using them.
Responsible for the monitoring material delivery, sample taking and testing of materials according to method of statements (if necessary).
Responsible for all delivered materials (which will be used in final products) are properly checked and documented (such as MRR and DN)

Job Requirements

BE (Civil) with related field experience not less than 7-year (or) AGTI (Civil) with related field experience not less than 6-year
Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
Exceptional negotiation, leadership and communication skills
Adheres to all workplace health and safety rules & regulations, standards, and practices
Verbal and written communication skill in English
Experience using the Microsoft and Windows Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Auto CAD
