  • Code and test back-end services in Node.js.
  • Design, implement and/or use RESTful web services
  • Building scalable micro services-based system
  • Understand the needs of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with the specific needs and requests of the customer
  • Participate in agile software development, prototyping and code reviews

Job Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of developing projects based on Node.js and Express framework
  • Practically experienced with MongoDB
  • Strong background in JavaScript (ES6)
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Ability to write structured, well-documented and maintainable code
  • Practically experienced with REST APIs design and implementation
  • Solid professional experience in using Node.js unit testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Practically experienced with Docker
  • Knowledge of and skills in designing/implementing micro services is a big plus
  • Experienced in any of the following areas is a plus: code review, continuous integration, continuous deliver
