System Engineering (50%):
-Works with System Engineer III in scheduling the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems software, database systems, applications, and application development environments.
-Participates in technical projects providing guidelines and technical guidance for system administration and system security.
In conjunction with System Engineering team, evaluates, tests patches and hot fixes to systems and applications for maintain system and application security.
- Regularly review servers and application logs and other data to identify potential issues.
-Assists in server hardware installation, maintenance, problem resolution, failure recovery, and configuration.
Help Desk / Technical Support (50%):
- Providing System Engineering support for Help Desk tickets and support requests, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrading computer hardware, software, computers, and peripheral equipment.
-Receives, assigns, prioritizes, documents and actively resolves end user help requests.
Job Requirements
-Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Information Technology with applicable Systems Administration experience and/or System engineering certifications such as Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMWare, RHCE
-Strong experience and knowledge of various Operating Systems, applications and services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Web, and Server and Applications security
-Experience/Understanding on OSS/BSS platforms (Radius, Diameter, PCRF, PCEF and Billing)
-Experience Administering LAN, WAN, SLB/ADC, SAN storage environments and SAN network infrastructure.
-Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and risk assessments.
-Experience analyzing, and implementing access control mechanisms and security methodologies.
-Hands on skills related to installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing software, hardware and peripherals.
-Ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users.
-Outstanding communications (English and Myanmar) and initiative with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills - team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy.
-Must have proficiency with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, research, databases and presentation software. (MS Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and using online information systems.
-Knowledge of and Mobile Devices including Apple OS and hardware.
-Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and evening hours as needed in addition to normal business hours.
