Digital Focus is seeking a talented individual who will be responsible for the creation and editing of video for our media platforms, websites, social media and other media outlets.

The successful candidate will help set the strategy for videos that broadly range in style from fun and informative to lifestyle and smart. You will enjoy a broad team dynamic and be expected to generate ideas independently as well as being able to collaborate in a team environment to execute on other colleague’s ideas and suggestions for various video content.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities
• Plan and manage the video production calendar
• Produce, direct, edit and deliver videos based on calendar schedule
• Establish best practices in video production
• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Design to ensure brand consistency

Experience is required in writing, shooting, lighting, editing, post-production and delivering HD video content including:
• Strong storytelling skills
• Drive to take a project from start to completion with minimum aid
• Proficiency with nonlinear video editing systems (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro X)
• Knowledge of video and audio editing, graphic design and production
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects and other VFX software knowledge desirable but not essential
• Experience in both shooting, lighting is desirable but not essential
