Chief Accountant

Job Description

• Oversees the accounting and financial reporting activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies Standard
• Prepare and analyze financial monthly reports, monthly budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Strong knowledge of Myanmar Accounting Standards and IFRS, costing, taxation and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with tax and submit timely tax reports.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with corporate finance team and respond promptly to management inquiries regarding financial performance and accounting matters.
• Perform monthly inventory checks with operations and reconcile with accounting records
• Good communication skills, problem solving skill and negotiation skills and organization skills.
• Policy established by the Corporate Finance, Rule Responsible for following procedures and systems.
• Lead initiatives in financial transformation within the company.

Job Requirements

• Graduated with Bachelor Degree (more preferred B.Com , B.A Eco) with ACCA part (II) or Dip IFRS
• Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Must have strong knowledge in Advance Excel, Power Point, Email, and Accounting /SAP Software.
• Must have excellent understanding of financial regulations, Myanmar tax and compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Communication with English language.
