Safety officer must be responsible and a professional involved in preserving the safety and health of the workplace.

Responsibility

Work towards maintaining a secure environment, preventing accidents and cultivating a safety-conscious culture within the workforce.
Conducting safety audits regularly. This involves inspecting the workplace to identify any situation or work processes that have potential to cause harm to employees and provide preventive recommendations.
Conduct safety training for employees. Ensure they are well-informed about safety and emergency procedures and also correct usage of safety equipment.
Involve in development and implementation of safety policies and procedures, ensuring employees are align with local regulations and global best safety practices in occupational safety and health.
To identify potential hazards and evaluate risks is crucial in this role and also anticipate assess and minimize safety risk to prevent workplace accidents.
