To perform timely testing as part of BAU activities including Regression testing and testing of new application, system or version as per the End User’s requirements in order to ensure that the defects are found early and retested, Assist and guide the Junior testers in their daily activities.

• Understand the requirements and raise clarifications in the BRD
• Prepare the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Understand the system or application in terms of its available modules and functions including the navigation flows
• Develop the Test scenarios and test cases with test steps and Expected results
• Review the test scenarios and test cases written by peers as well as the Juniors test analysts
• Guide the junior testers in their daily activities or allow the junior tester to shadow some of the important tasks such as test case or test scenario preparation, test execution, defect logging, etc.
• Manual Test execution of the test cases and capturing the results in the test management tool such as JIRA
• Develop and maintain the Test Artefacts such as RTM, Test Design, Execution Log, Risk Register, etc.
• Log Defects in JIRA and inform the Test lead on the same so can check the validity of the raised defect
• Assist the Test lead in preparing the reports based on the findings and also on the progress of the test execution
• Escalate to the Test Manager/ Test Lead on issues or major risks pertaining to testing or the progress of Test Execution
• Participate in Defect triage meetings
• Co-ordination with Junior Analysts during the Test data preparation

• Any Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum related 3 to 5 years of experience in banking preferably in:

• Back Office Branch Operations Core Banking and Internet/ Mobile Banking

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good to have experience in implementing and executing testing processes
