Role Purpose

This role is part of a highly passionate PMO department, working in collaboration with Project Sponsors, Project Managers, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Developers, and QA. The position requires a senior mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure successful delivery within project deadlines. Serving as the focal point for development project delivery, the role is pivotal to the organization’s success. In addition, the position plays a key role in enhancing processes and coaching others to advance in agile practices and continuous delivery.

Job Responsibilities  

• Coordinates several projects and controls the project portfolio.
• Sets goals and aligns several teams to achieve business benefits including planning, road mapping, projects dependencies management, people allocation, impediments removals. 
• Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. 
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status. 
• Lead the planning, coordination and execution of development and delivery of digital transformation road map in a multi scrum team organization. 
• Takes ownership and accountability for meeting the project and team goals. 
• Providing the project status to stakeholders and sponsors. 
• Provides direction and leadership to the team. 
• Ensure the team to self-organize and become a mature high-performing team. 

Education & Special Training

Essential 

• M Sc. in Computer Science or similar degree. 

Desirable 

• MBA or related master’s degree is desirable. 

• PMP or Prince-2 Certification  

Experience 

Essential  

• Minimum 6 years working experience in Financial Institutions. 

• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods 

• Collaborative and like to share knowledge. 

• Understands and believes in agile project management and continuous improvement. 

• Focused on project delivery with high quality. 

• Used to work close to stakeholders in managing project timelines and deliverables. 

• High energy and passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential.
