Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts
Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
Lead employment branding initiatives
Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
Establishing recruiting requirements by meeting with hiring managers to discuss needs.
Determining applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
Sourcing potential applicants by placing job advertisements using job portals and social media.
Determining applicant qualifications by telephone interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Arranging and conducting interviews for short-listed candidates
Evaluating applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with respective hiring managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
Coordinating with external agencies to find the best candidate for the organization
Holding accountable for recruitment trackers and monthly recruitment reportsUses networking opportunities such as local community groups or professional associations to identify referrals for qualified candidates
Manages projects including; email marketing, competitor organizational chart mapping, mapping professional and alumni associations, social media, cold calling, and social activities
Assessing need, organizing, and running information career webinars and campaigns
Works within a budget
Performs queries and searches in Applicant Tracking databases for qualified candidates
Searches the internet using search engines, user groups or Blogs and other creative techniques to find qualified candidates
Identifies user groups and professional associations which could lead to qualified candidates.
Keeps Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as vacancy tracker and candidate tracker updated at all times
Opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
Use sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles
