Job Summary

We are seeking the qualified and experienced Agricultural Technicians to support and improve agricultural operations at our farm. The potential candidates must have strong agricultural knowledge, practical field experience, and the ability to apply appropriate farming techniques to improve crop growth, productivity, and quality. We are looking for hands-on professionals who can identify agricultural problems, recommend effective solutions, and contribute to the successful management of farming operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field inspections to monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and overall plant health.
• Perform and supervise land preparation, seed selection, nursery management, planting, fertilization, crop maintenance, and harvesting activities.
• Assess soil conditions and recommend appropriate fertilizers and plant nutrients according to crop requirements.
• Identify crop diseases, pest infestations, and nutrient deficiencies, and implement suitable prevention and control measures.
• Monitor irrigation and drainage systems to ensure effective water management.
• Apply appropriate agricultural techniques to improve crop yield, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure the proper handling and safe application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural inputs.
• Maintain accurate records of planting schedules, fertilizer applications, pest and disease monitoring, and crop yields.
• Guide and supervise agricultural workers in daily farming activities and proper cultivation methods.
• Identify field-related problems, recommend practical solutions, and report progress to the responsible supervisor or farm management.
• Support the implementation of agricultural production plans and recommend improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
• Responsible for cultivating and maintaining fruit crops, including pomelo, jackfruit, durian, sweet coconut, and papaya, as well as kitchen garden crops.
• Monitor plant growth, apply appropriate cultivation techniques, and ensure healthy growth and productivity.

• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, Crop Science, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in agricultural production, crop cultivation, or farm operations
• Strong knowledge of soil management, plant nutrition, irrigation and drainage, and pest and disease control.
• Proven ability to identify agricultural problems and implement practical technical solutions.
• Practical experience in fieldwork, crop maintenance, and agricultural operations.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to supervise agricultural workers and provide practical technical guidance.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Can stay and work at the agricultural estate in Nyaung Hnapin Agricultural and Livestock Breeding Zone, Yangon.
