Job Summary

The Assistant Procurement Manager will support the Procurement Manager in managing sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory planning to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement for the company’s trading and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing procurement strategies to support company operations.

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and delivery terms.

  • Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.

  • Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability.

  • Prepare purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to support procurement decisions.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation.

  • Support inventory planning and stock control to prevent shortages or overstock.

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in a trading or distribution company.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

  • Must be able to speak Chinese and have strong proficiency in English.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Experience dealing with overseas suppliers.
