  • Ensure that SOPs, quality plans and all other system set-ups (SAP) are established and made available to concerned parties for proper planning, purchase of materials and manufacturing execution.
  • Provide direction on cost savings initiatives through raw materials revalidation instead of outright disposal of material lots exceeding its expiry dates.
  • Provide technical assistance to factory and regional affiliates through quality and process troubleshooting and other technical services.
  • Recommends appropriate actions on nonconforming raw material deliveries, in-process products and finished products as requested.
  • Provide technical assistance / troubleshoot major and complex concerns on process and finished products
  • Evaluate / assess product non-conformances on quality and safety; recommend appropriate action for proper disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Provision of training to Manufacturing on technology and operations of new production lines prior to turn-over for regular production.
  • Oversees the day to day QA activities in the plant.
  • Coordinates with Managers of Operations, Production and Supply Chain all problems related to quality control of plant operations and incoming / outgoing materials, respectively
  • Supports and audits the plant in the implementation of internal programs like Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Enforces disciplinary actions as maybe necessary to QA personnel in accordance with existing company policies and guidelines.
  • Ensures consistent implementation, training and maintenance of GMP, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety Procedures in the department.
  • Responsible in the attainment of the plant QA’s KPI.
  • Supports other plant departments in the achievement of the overall plant KPI’s
  • Informs the Quality Assurance Director on all matters affecting product quality.
  • Performs other functions as may be assigned by superior.
  • Ensures that the standard set specifications are being met to attain good quality product.
  • Evaluates and assesses customer requirements and demonstrate conformity to agreed customer requirements.
  • Ensures timely communication of food safety issues to concerned parties.
  • Ensures organization conforms to Food Safety Policy.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of products produced by monitoring and testing materials and products in accordance with the established integrated management system documents.
  • Monitors and controls department operational expenses and ensure to be within allowed budget.
  • Responds to all Quality & Food Safety Management and Management System such as GMP, HACCP

  • At least 5 years working experience as a Quality control or Quality Assurance work, Product Development Manager or similar position for a food manufacturing company.
  • College graduate with a degree in BS Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology or Chemistry. Preferably licensed Chemical Engineer.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, technical and analytical skills With good managerial skills in planning, organizing, leading and controlling
  • Well versed with the Operations and Supply Chain, ISO, HACCP and Food Safety Management System concepts and requirements
  • Must be decisive, hardworking and self-motivated. Must know how to deal with people of all level and have good moral character.
