The role focuses on hardware troubleshooting and repair, Windows and software support, basic networking, IT equipment setup, and user support through phone, remote, and on-site assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripheral devices.
• Replace and upgrade common hardware components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, keyboards, batteries, fans, LCD screens, and power adapters.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, device drivers, Microsoft Office, and standard business applications.
• Perform system recovery, OS and standard software installation.
• Provide basic technical support for basic LAN/Wi-Fi, IP configuration, network printers, and shared network resources.
• Perform basic network cabling and RJ-45 termination as required.
• Provide user support through phone, remote, and on-site assistance.
• Prepare, configure, test, and deploy desktop/laptop devices for new and replacement users.
• Perform preventive maintenance, device health checks, cleaning, and basic performance optimization.
• Maintain accurate service tickets, repair records, and IT asset information.
• Support branch/office deployment, relocation, and on-site IT activities when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field or have equivalent proven industry experience.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Desktop/Laptop Support, Hardware Repair, or a related role. Fresh graduates with strong practical skills are welcome.
• Hands-on knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and Windows troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, IP configuration, LAN/Wi-Fi, and Active Directory.
• Able to perform basic hardware replacement and RJ-45 termination.
• Basic knowledge or experience with IT Ticketing / Service Desk Systems.
• Willing to provide on-site support and travel to branches/sites when required.
